Lake Berryessa and Lake Sonoma are the hidden jewels of the Sonoma Coast and the Napa Valley.

Lake Berryessa offers a wide variety of species including the elusive Kokanee Salmon, Landlocked King Salmon and Rainbow Trout.

Lake Sonoma is a bit different than Lake Berryessa; it has a wild strain of native coastal steelhead, which were landlocked behind the Warm Springs Dam in the early 80’s. They have adapted to the lake, surviving and reproducing on high water years with some of the fish recorded by my service weighing up to 8 lbs.+ This is a lake where most fisherman practice catch & release to try and preserve this precious resource of fishing.
